POD is a statewide early childhood education and care project funded by the State of Hawaii Department of Human Services (DHS). POD helps children go to preschool by helping families pay preschool cost for one year.

Child Care Connection helps families achieve self-sufficiency and economic independence from welfare dependency while fostering personal responsibility. Arbor and First to Work are under this department. Applicants may apply at any time as long as there is funding available each year.

This program is a statewide child care subsidy funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.  They help Native Hawaiian families pay for preschool.  They recognize the importance of early learning and the difference that quality childcare makes for both parents and keiki.

NACCRRA (Child Care Aware) is working with the U.S. Military Services to help those who serve in the military find and afford child care that suits their unique needs.  Through the fee assistance program, families are eligible to receive a monthly subsidy to help offset the cost of childcare in their communities.  Visit one of the following websites for more information:
